WE ARE HAPPY to announce our new monthly VLOG: Fit and Pain Free the Bonnie Prudden Way. It will center around fitness pioneer Bonnie Prudden, her method of exercise, and Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy®, a way to erase muscle pain.

Sandy Dirks and I, Enid Whittaker, are your hosts. Both of us had the privilege and fun of working with and for Bonnie Prudden for many decades, and we look forward to sharing our knowledge and insight with you each month.

Exercise is the fastest way to relieve muscle tension. Because these are tension-filled days, we begin each episode with a few tension-relieving exercises, and we end with an Exercise of the Month. Many are exercises that you can do most anywhere. The key is to do them often throughout the day BEFORE your muscles start to gather tension, resulting in end-of-the-day achiness such as back pain and headaches.

Each episode is accompanied by video clips illustrating the information discussed.

As Danielle says, “Bonnie’s aspirations for her daughters would ultimately reshape the trajectory of her own life—and that of the nation.”

      In this episode we show you how to test the key posture muscles for strength and flexibility. Failure to pass this minimum muscular test often leads to low back pain and poor posture.

      The body is built between birth and six. Physical fitness should start at birth, with a minute of exercise to music, each time there is a diaper change.

      Baby Swim
      Babies have been in warm water for nine months. They are born with a grip reflex, a breath holding reflex and frog-like movement reflexes. When placed face down under warm water, these reflexes kick in. Since they start to wane at three months, the best time to start this lifetime sport and prevent drowning is at day seven.
